Michael Gerazounis, P.E., LEED AP
Michael Gerazounis is founding Principal of MG Engineering PC, incorporated in 1991. A mechanical engineer with a strength in building efficiency and management controls, he commenced his career in 1985 at Lizardos Engineering Associates.
Among some of his most significant projects are: the repositioning of the office building at 60 Broad Street in lower Manhattan; the conversion of the original American Radiator Building into the Bryant Park Hotel; the repositioning of an office building for GE in Parsippany, New Jersey; conference and exhibition areas within the Intrepid Air & Space Museum and the conversion of an original 6-story loft warehouse building into the Soho House Hotel. He maintains a strong interest in making existing buildings better.
Michael Gerazounis is licensed in 21 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. He is active in the following professional organizations: ASHRAE (past president, Long Island chapter), NSPE, BOMA and CoreNet.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.

Peter Gerazounis, P.E., LEED AP
Peter Gerazounis is a Principal of MG Engineering PC. He started his career at Lizardos Engineering Associates as an intern while attending college. After graduation, Peter held positions as a junior engineer at Joseph R. Loring and Associates and BJLJ Engineers and Architects. Peter joined the young and growing MG Engineering in 1993 as an engineer and was later promoted to associate and is today a principal.
Among his most significant projects are: McDonald’s Times Square (three-story, 300-seat restaurant that celebrates the theatrical tradition of Manhattan’s most famous neighborhood); Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein at 1301 Avenue of the Americas (provided redundancy cooling and ventilation systems as well as full emergency power linking many floors); and 90 West Street (severely damaged on September 11, 2001, landmarked building was meticulously restored and converted from commercial to residential use with completely new MEP systems).
Peter Gerazounis is licensed in the State of New York and is a certified LEED Accredited Professional. He is active in the long island chapter of ASHRAE where he served as president from 2007-2008 and is currently a member of the Board of Governors.
He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Michael Marino, Senior Executive Director
From an early age Michael Marino was surrounded by a family of engineers. He commenced his career working at his father’s firm alongside two of his uncles, a brother and several cousins. In 1991, he joined MG Engineering PC, where he is presently a Senior Executive Director overseeing the electrical trade aspects of the firm’s work. Mr. Marino also spearheads various aspects of the company’s high level administration including business development, sales, marketing and operations management.
Among his most significant projects are: the Tudor Investment Group corporate headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut; acting as building engineer for Cushman & Wakefield’s Wall Street Plaza property; GE Money and GE Energy corporate offices in Stamford, Connecticut; AIG (more than 500,000 square feet of corporate office space in downtown New York City designed between 1993 and 2004); and Pfizer (on call engineer for approximately 400,000 square feet of corporate office space in their Manhattan headquarters).
Mr. Marino earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Hofstra University, an Associate’s Degree from the State University of New York at Farmingdale and holds a Certificate of Electrical Systems Design from New York University. He is also trained at GE’s Nela Park in Cleveland as a lighting specialist and has given numerous seminars on energy efficient lighting systems.

Bruce W. Jaffe, Senior Executive Director
Bruce W. Jaffe commenced his engineering career in 1980 at Syska and Hennessy. In 1991, he joined MG Engineering, PC, where he is now a Senior Executive Director.
Accomplished in hospitality, hi-rise residential, broadcast studios and restaurants, some of the most significant projects of his career include 7 World Trade Center; the Jacob Javits Convention Center; and the design of the Smith and Wollensky Restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts, one of various restaurants designed for the restaurant chain throughout the US.
Mr. Jaffe was educated at New York Institute of Technology and Queensborough Community College. He holds multiple certificates in hot water heating systems design, architectural compliance for the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and basic and advanced plumbing design from New York University.
Bruce Jaffe is active in the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) where he served as vice president for two years.
